This is a translation for convenience. The German version is legally binding. German version (Deutsche Fassung)
Version of 9 October 2026, effective from 6 November 2026 (previous version: 5 August 2026)
1. Scope
These General Terms and Conditions (Allgemeine Geschäftsbedingungen, “AGB”, hereinafter “Terms”) apply to the use of the Weekend Pilot platform (hereinafter “Platform” or “Service”), operated by Florian Mahrl, Traklgasse 9/1, 1190 Wien, Austria (hereinafter “Operator”), by the user (hereinafter “User” or “you”). Austrian law applies (section 11).
2. Subject matter of the contract
Weekend Pilot is a platform for planning joint activities, managing wishes and connecting with like-minded people. The Service includes AI-assisted suggestions, calendar features, chat features, a meal planner (smart weekly plan with recipe management and AI) and further features.
3. Registration and user account
Registration is required to use the Platform. You can create an account of your own from the age of 16; you confirm your age during registration. Younger children only use Weekend Pilot with a child account to which a parent invites them into the family; the parents thereby consent on the child’s behalf and accompany the use (Privacy Policy, section 11a). You undertake to provide truthful information and to keep your access credentials secure. You are responsible for all activities under your account.
4. Conditions of use
You use the Platform at your own responsibility. You undertake not to use the Platform for unlawful purposes and to respect the rights of third parties.
4a. Family sharing & data visibility
Weekend Pilot is designed as a family app. By joining a family (via invitation link or join code), you agree that the following content created by you is visible by default to ALL members of that family: wishes, day plans, visits/outings, photos in family albums, weekend letters, polls/votes, shared notes, calendar entries marked as visible to the family, as well as the family chat. Others only see your location if you share it yourself: as live location for an appointment, as an “I am here” link that you send yourself, or via “Friend nearby” if your privacy mode allows it — see Privacy Policy, section 6e. You can leave the family at any time; what you have shared with the family up to that point remains visible to it (details in the Privacy Policy, section 7).
In shared groups (kindergarten, school class and friends’ groups, 2–20 families), chat messages and jointly created polls are visible to all member families — never private family data of other members.
5. Subscription and payments
Paid subscriptions are offered for Plus features. All prices stated are final prices. Pursuant to § 6(1) no. 27 of the Austrian VAT Act (Umsatzsteuergesetz, UStG), no VAT is shown (small business exemption, Kleinunternehmerregelung). Payment processing depends on the platform: in the iOS app via Apple StoreKit (Apple, Inc., USA); billing runs via your Apple ID account and is subject to the Apple Media Services Terms and Conditions. In the web app via Stripe, Inc. (USA); the processing of your payment data is subject to Stripe’s privacy policy (stripe.com/privacy). Subscriptions renew automatically and can be cancelled at any time — iOS subscriptions in the iOS system settings under “Subscriptions”, Stripe subscriptions in the app settings or by email. The cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
Cancellation button pursuant to § 312k of the German Civil Code (Bürgerliches Gesetzbuch, BGB): You can also end your subscription at any time — even without logging in — via the page “Cancel contracts here” (Verträge hier kündigen, in German). We confirm receipt of the cancellation by email without undue delay, stating the date.
Price changes are announced by email at least 30 days before they take effect. In the event of price increases, the User has a special right of termination as of the time of the price change.
5a. Right of withdrawal
Consumers have the right to withdraw from the contract within 14 days without giving any reason. The withdrawal period is 14 days from the day on which the contract is concluded. To exercise your right of withdrawal, inform us by email at florian.mahrl@gmail.com. In the event of an effective withdrawal, the payments received will be refunded without undue delay, at the latest within 14 days.
5b. Model withdrawal form
(If you wish to withdraw from the contract, please complete this form and return it.)

5c. Early start of performance / expiry of the right of withdrawal
When concluding a paid subscription, you can expressly consent to us beginning the service (access to the Plus features) before the 14-day withdrawal period expires. You give this consent at the time of purchase by means of a separate confirmation — not already by registering or by free use. Your right of withdrawal expires as soon as we have begun performance if you have expressly consented to this beforehand, acknowledged that you thereby lose your right of withdrawal and received a confirmation of the contract (§ 18(1) no. 11 of the Austrian Distance and Off-Premises Contracts Act, FAGG); we send you this confirmation by email after the purchase. Free use of the Platform does not affect the right of withdrawal. Purchases in the iOS app are processed by Apple; you request a refund from Apple there.
6. Liability
The Operator is liable without limitation for intent and gross negligence, for damage resulting from injury to life, body or health, and under the mandatory provisions of the Product Liability Act (Produkthaftungsgesetz). This liability remains unaffected by the following provisions. In the case of slight negligence, the Operator is only liable for the breach of essential contractual obligations (obligations whose fulfillment makes the proper performance of the contract possible in the first place and on whose compliance the User may regularly rely); in this case, liability is limited to the foreseeable damage typical for this type of contract. Otherwise, liability for slight negligence is excluded. Weekend Pilot gives no warranty for suggestions and recommendations made by the AI.
a) AI liability
The AI-based suggestions and recommendations serve solely as inspiration and do not constitute binding advice. The Operator assumes no liability for the accuracy, completeness or suitability of the AI-generated content. In particular, no liability is assumed for activity suggestions that turn out to be unsuitable, inaccessible or unavailable.
b) Third-party liability
The Operator assumes no liability for the content, availability and data protection practices of third-party providers (in particular linked websites, Google Maps, Stripe, embedded content). The use of third-party services is at the User’s own risk and is subject to the respective terms of use of the third-party provider.
c) Force majeure (höhere Gewalt)
The Operator is not liable for disruptions or interruptions of performance attributable to circumstances beyond its sphere of influence (force majeure), including but not limited to natural disasters, pandemics, power outages, internet outages, cyberattacks, official orders or disruptions at cloud infrastructure providers.
d) Amount of damages
Insofar as liability under the above provisions is limited to the foreseeable damage typical for this type of contract (slight negligence in the breach of essential contractual obligations), the following serves as a guide for the typical amount: EUR 100 for free accounts; for paid accounts, the amount paid in the last 12 months. The unlimited liability for intent, gross negligence, damage resulting from injury to life, body or health and under the Product Liability Act remains unaffected by this limitation.
7. Data protection
The handling of personal data is governed by our Privacy Policy, which you can view at /en/privacy (binding German version: /datenschutz).
7a. Rules of conduct for chat and community
All users are obliged to treat one another with respect and appreciation. Communication within the Platform should be constructive, friendly and fair.
The following content is expressly prohibited: hate speech, insults, discrimination, harassment, threats, illegal content, spam, unsolicited advertising and any content that violates applicable law.
Passing on personal data of other users (e.g. name, address, telephone number, email address) without their express consent is not permitted.
In the event of violations of these rules of conduct, the Operator reserves the right to take graduated measures: warning, temporary suspension of the account or permanent deletion of the account, depending on the severity of the violation.
Users can report violations of these guidelines via the Platform’s settings or by email to florian.mahrl@gmail.com.
The Operator reserves the right to remove content that violates these rules of conduct or applicable law without prior notice.
Note: We do not store messages in the AI chat (Navi, in the web app) in your account; they are lost when you leave the page and are not subject to moderation. For troubleshooting, excerpts of them may be kept in our AI logs for up to 30 days (Privacy Policy, section 5).
7b. Rights of use in user content
By posting content (texts, images, activity suggestions) in the community or the chat, the User grants Weekend Pilot a simple (non-exclusive), non-transferable right of use, insofar as this is necessary for operating and displaying the Platform. The copyrights remain with the User. When you delete your account, section 7 of the Privacy Policy applies: public posts and posts in shared groups remain without your name; content in a family with other members remains available to them.
7c. Availability
Weekend Pilot strives for high availability of the Platform but does not guarantee uninterrupted accessibility. Maintenance work is announced in advance where possible. There is no entitlement to constant availability. If third-party services fail (e.g. AI suggestions, weather data), individual features may be temporarily restricted.
8. Termination
You can delete your account at any time. We reserve the right to suspend or delete accounts in the event of violations of these Terms.
You cancel paid subscriptions via the page “Cancel contracts here” (Verträge hier kündigen, in German; see section 5) — iOS subscriptions in the Apple settings under “Subscriptions”.
9. Changes to these Terms
We reserve the right to amend these Terms, for example in the event of changes in the legal situation, case law or the range of functions. You will be notified of changes by email to the address stored in your account at least 4 weeks before they are planned to take effect. Material changes (in particular those affecting your main obligations, the prices or the core of the service) only take effect if you actively agree to them. If you do not agree to material changes, you can terminate the contract free of charge until the planned effective date; until then, the previous Terms continue to apply unchanged. Consent by mere silence or by continued use does not occur in the case of material changes. We may make minor adjustments that are not disadvantageous to you (e.g. editorial corrections) with the stated notice period; we will point out any right to object and right to terminate separately in the notice of change.
10. Dispute resolution
We are neither obliged nor willing to participate in dispute resolution proceedings before a consumer arbitration board (Verbraucherschlichtungsstelle).
11. Final provisions
Austrian law applies, excluding the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods (CISG). If you are a consumer, this choice of law only applies insofar as it does not deprive you of the protection of the mandatory provisions of the law of the country in which you have your habitual residence. For disputes with consumers within the meaning of the Austrian Consumer Protection Act (Konsumentenschutzgesetz, KSchG), the place of jurisdiction pursuant to § 14 KSchG applies (domicile, habitual residence or place of employment of the consumer). Otherwise, the place of jurisdiction is Vienna, Austria.
Should any provision of these Terms be or become invalid or unenforceable, the validity of the remaining provisions shall remain unaffected. The invalid provision shall be replaced by a valid provision that comes closest to the economic purpose of the invalid provision.
