Every outing lands on your own explorer map — with a look back and a family cinema.
In the iPhone app
A calendar waits until you add something. Weekend Pilot thinks ahead.
Rain on the day of your trip? You hear about it in time — before you check yourself. And the paper week plan from school or kindergarten? Take a photo in the iPhone app: it becomes your calendar.
The family votes with points
Every week everyone spreads a few points across the wishes; kids earn a little extra by finishing tasks. Whatever has the most points gets planned.
Plan with friends — no account needed
Send another family a link. They answer in the browser: tap ideas, add their own, suggest another day. You decide, they confirm.
“I want to go there”
A place from an article or a link becomes the fixed point of the day — the rest falls into place around it: times, routes, a lunch stop and a backup in case it rains.
Weather, plans and kids’ ages included
Suggestions match the forecast, your family calendar and your children’s ages — only places that really exist, with checked addresses.

Frequently asked questions
What does Weekend Pilot cost?
The core is free: every Thursday a suggestion for the weekend (in many cities a finished plan from checked places, without AI), plus Discover, voting with points and friends via link. Free also includes up to 3 fresh AI plans per week (at most 10 per month). Plus costs €6.99 a month or €49.99 a year and adds up to 12 fresh AI plans per week, 24 live searches per month and 5 trips per month (up to 28 days each). New families who sign up with Apple or Google get a 7-day Plus trial with up to 10 fresh AI plans. No ads on any plan.
Where does Weekend Pilot work?
The iPhone app is available in 174 countries. Suggestions follow your location — the checked collection is densest in Austria, Germany and Switzerland, and it also includes UNESCO World Heritage sites worldwide and selected highlights in many European cities.
Do we need an account?
Not to join in: anyone who gets an invitation link from a family answers right in the browser — tap ideas, add their own, suggest a day — without the app and without an account. A shared vote works the same way. If you create plans yourself and vote with your family, you need a free account so that calendar, wishes and points are saved for everyone.
How does the family vote?
With points: every week everyone in the family spreads a few points across the wishes; kids earn a little extra by finishing tasks. Points stay on a wish and count again the following week. Whatever has the most points gets planned.
What happens to our data?
Your data belongs to your family: no ads, no selling of tracking data, GDPR-compliant with servers in the EU. The AI gets no email addresses and placeholders instead of your names — but it does get your children’s ages and interests, your wishes and time slots, so the plan fits. In the app and on the web you can plan entirely without AI if you like. Details are in the privacy policy.
Is Weekend Pilot available as an iPhone app?
Yes — Weekend Pilot is a native iPhone app, in English and German, with proactive weekend suggestions, home-screen widgets and Live Activities on the day of your trip. On Android and on a computer, the web version runs right in the browser; on an Android phone you can add it to your home screen like an app via “Add to Home screen”.
